Any good recommendations on handgun training? Above basic level and I’m located in Old Jefferson/Elmwood

I don't have any first hand recommendations but I remember our local indoor shooting range (Baton Rouge - Precision Firearms & Indoor Range ) had instruction classes for shooters ... Above and beyond Basic Shooting ... I would see the classes taking place on the scheduled nights .
Call your nearest indoor range and inquire ... I'm sure they would have information on classes and instructor's who provide classes .

Precision's website advertises classes and advanced training ... I'm sure a range near you offers similar training , it would be the first place I would check .

FRC has had some good training over the years.

Advantage group does some good pistol courses. It's a little bit of a drive but I think it's worth it.

FRC is a good option. Gulf Coast Shooters hosts many solid classes as well in Slidell.
