I have a H&R Topper 12 gauge full choke, single shot. Can I fire a rifled slug in the gun without danger being that it is a full choke? If so, what type of slug would work? Any discussion on this would be greatly appreciated. Has a 2 3/4 and 3" chamber.

I guess this is kinda a dud post but I didn't want to risk a full choke maybe not passing the barrel quick enough and bursting at the end as I have read there is a variation in diameter of brands and type of slugs.

If it were me (and I have no idea), and I wanted to know and couldn't find the answer, I would take a shell apart and push the slug down the barrel with a rod and see if the resistance got really high all of a sudden at the end.
