S&W 9 EZ grip safety problem and repair. DISREGARD..

Hey guys I purchased the above pistol and am having a grip safety problem. I thought it was me but three others have shot it and all of us are experiencing a no fire event and it all has to do with the grip safety. Nothing like a 1911 at all and seems you have to consciously squeeze the grip to guarantee firing. Have any of you experienced this with the grip safety ez 9 or 380 pistols. If so how was it repaired. As I’m not the original owner I’m not covered on the lifetime warranty. Any help or guidance appreciated. Got this for the wife but as is it’s useless and unreliable.

Well after doing more research I believe the problem is simply not holding it high enough to push the grip safety enough.
