It’s a S&W so it’s from a reputable company. I’d there a reason you are wanting it over a standard shield?

Sight upgrade mainly. I've fired a standard 380 model at the range to try on out and I liked the feel of it, (9mm was not available that day). Not that a 9 is that bad to shoot but was wondering if the ported bbl would make a big difference.

The port is extremely small and not very effective. If you're willing to spend Performance Center money, I would recommend the Shield Plus 4" Performance Center.
