Friends: We’ve had reports that persons claiming to be from the Walker Police Department are calling local residents and seeking to collect money for outstanding warrants. This is a scam. We do not contact people by telephone concerning warrants. Please do not provide any such callers with any information. Thank you and please share!

Just because someone is gullible or possibly elderly and don’t think as clearly as they once did, I can’t see how anyone could say they deserve to be scammed.
