I plan on carrying (concealed) my P365 in the warmer months instead of my 1911. The peace of mind carrying a 1911at the ready is unmatched but I’ve seen instances where polymer style pistols fire with minimal trigger contact. Any input would be appreciated.

I would carry a newer P365XL over a 1911 year round. Personal Preference.
The early Sig P320 and P365 pistols had issues and Sig made changes to both series.

    A P365 in a top-tier, well-made holster will not have any NDs.

I carry a P365XL, personally, and wouldn't consider carrying anything else out there that isn't a Glock or a M&P.

Non-issue, it's got a 5lb trigger and a firing pin block. As long as it's riding in a properly fit holster, carry it with confidence.

I carry the P365 and have no worries. As Austin pointed out, make sure to use a good holster. I have been carrying it in a BraDec holster and it is a great fit. Cheap and well made holster no frills.

Carrying your pistol win a quality holster is a given for any pistol.
Most of the holsters I currently own were made by Silk Custom Kydex.
