Looking for a gunsmith that can mill a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless for a Holosun 407K if it is even doable. I know that this probably sounds sacrilegious, but the gun is a shooter with poor condition bluing. Also would like to have a nitride finish applied.

For the cost of milling (if possible), and refinish, you could probably buy a used glock , or Browning .380 mod. 84; If you could sell your 1903, you could probably walk away with $300 to 500 in your pocket. Enough to add goodies to your new pistol.

Already got plenty of sane carry handguns...this is just a concept that has caught my fancy as I have not seen anyone else have one done. I really like the gun...32acp and all, just hate the sights.

Sounds like fun !! I have a Remington #4 rolling block that I'm thinking of converting to another caliber. It was built in 1907. Mini buffalo rifle?????
Good luck and God bless, J.W.

That gun doesn't look bad at all. Finish is spotty, but that's not surprising for a gun that's probably pushing a century old. It still has collector value.

Milled, it'll be worth zero. I'd leave it.

I had some custom work done by ECCO Machine out of Colorado. There was a several months long wait list but once I shipped it off he turned it around in just a couple of weeks. Highly recommend.

That's not me but James Reeves from TFBTV-NOLA attorney, gun tuber, and owner of Neutral Ground gun company. You have to watch the whole video. He's a trickster.
