*SOLD* WTS Marlin 45/70 *SOLD*

Have a Marlin 1895SS in 45/70 I am wanting to sell for $400 OBO. I have had it for about 6 years and it shoots great. I can get it to shoot 1" groups at 50 and 100 yds. Just selling because it sits in my safe and don't use it as much as I used to. FTF in Gonzales area.

I thought the 1895SS , was Stainless ?

no it isn't, the 1895SS designation came out before Marlin starting producing them in stainless. On the barrel it is marked "1895SS Micro Groove Barrel".
