I saw it announced a couple of weeks ago and saw the few shooting reoorts that it was a soso shooter, most of those guys only try a few loads and let it be. Well i love my nice 22's and have a few.

I found one locally and bought it well knowing the guys on youtube were not getting great accuracy.
I put a Vortex Strike Eagle on it and ran 50 rounds of CCI Std Vel through it to break it in.
I gathered up what ammo i had which was 32 different types.
I will post a detailed list of the ammo monday with group sizes but i had some group from .242 in to well over 1 inch at 50 yds for 3 shot groups as Springfields guaranty is 1 inch at 50 yds for 3 shots.

I did adjust the trigger down to 2.5 pounds and it has no creep and breaks clean. I also shot it out of a Caldwell Precision Turret to helo with human error. Also this was with a suppressor and shot indoors in a big warehouse so no wind.

I was excited about it too until I heard the mixed reactions. It seems to be a tweener for people. It costs more than a 10/22 or Savage Mk ii, but isn't as good as a Bergara or other higher priced rifles.

You also have to know rimfire when watching random YouTubers complain about the accuracy while they are shooting Bucket o Bullets, Autocomp, and other junk bulk ammo. Even CCI mini mag isn't super accurate for many rifles.

They should at least be using CCI Mini Mag, some Eley, or even Wolf Match. I'm not expecting everyone to try Lapua Center x.

Those groups are good Stinky but I like to shoot 5 or 10 shot groups with 22LR to let the rifle get used to the coatings between different types of ammo. Sounds like a great trigger, good magazine, decent barrel with a poor stock. I love to shoot with suppressors as well, but it will probably group better without it.

I have shot a few types at 100, just have not had the time to do all the ammo.
I did have some that shot 1 in groups, hope to shoot the rest ASAP.
Thanks, there was so much to like and it seemed to show up and the perfect time. It just sat in a weird spot between the Savages, BMR, and CZ.

I have the tactical CZ, heavy barrel savage, keystone 722 chassis precision and others. I really like the Springfield and also it keeps shooting better the more rounds it shoots, im guessing the lead is smoothing out some rough spots in the barrel.
For $ 400 its really nice.

PSA has them for less right now too. But I’m leaning towards the CZ as my next 22 after I get finished with this Savage. If I had more time I’d get it for the hell of it.
