I was reloading for a while about 6-7 years ago and stopped. I kept all my equipment and want to start again. My power and primers have been kept in an outside shed that is not humidity controlled. It is in the original containers and is kept in a plastic cabinet...not air tight. Wondering if it should be ok to use or should I get rid of the powder and primers and buy new stuff. Also, would it be better to keep inside my house, in closets on opposite ends of the room?
    Thanks!

    Smell powder,
    Paper test it.
Load just a primer in case and fire
Over the years I have inherited lots of old card board powders that were fine.
Checked mil surplus ammo by pull down most batches were good to go.

It’s definitely better to keep inside. Cool and dry. I’m not sure about the powder but the primers are probably ok if they don’t look bad
