I know a new one goes for around $329 at the higher priced places and Academy had them for 279-289 and had them on sale for 229 back during christmas. My wife had one, picked it up, and liked it... took it and shot it..... hated it afterward. Had to replace it.

Find someone that has one and let her shoot it first..... very hard trigger for a lady

Which model did she try? The trigger on my Pt-111 is very heavy but my cousin has the millenium pro pt-111 and the trigger is not bad at all.

Yah, I want the Mill Pro model. She dont like to shoot much of anything except for .22's.
She disliked the taurus the least. That and a Smith .38 but the Taurus is cheaper and holds more rounds.

Thanks all. I bought a Kahr CW40 today thats as smooth as silk and will shoot the 135gr loads for less recoil.
