Been lurking here for a couple of months on a recommendation from a guy in BTR that I purchased a pistol from. Speak up if you're the guy that did the exchange with me near the airport.
I'm Jared, currently surviving in Lafayette until something better comes along. I was raised in Jennings, lived in Florida, Texas, California, Tennessee, Mississippi, & Alabama at one time or another. A former US Marine, was medically discharged in '94. Since then and currently, I operate and manage private jet aircraft which affords me the luxury of traveling. A LOT of traveling.
Also a lot of free time when not working....
I've been shooting since I was big enough to hold a shotgun. I still enjoy deer hunting and shooting hogs, but have given up on duck/goose hunting since being a guide up in Arkansas a few years back. Mostly, over the last few years, I've been happy trying to shoot small groups and busting clay pigeons.
I've acquired a functional collection of various different firearms that include a variety of shotguns in 28, 20, & 12 gauge. Handguns in 45 & 40 cal. Rifles from 22-250 up to 450marlin. Even managed to build a couple of AR's back before the last presidential election. I'd be more specific, but I don't care to advertise too much....
Now back to my reading....
