Do any of ya'll do any training?

Shooting schools...?

I've been to Gunsite and Tactical Response, and am going to Rangemaster in January.

What do you train with/for?

I've done pistol, rifle, a little shotgun and plan on the Barrett classes in Febuary after the shot show.

Whereyabeen and how'dyalikeit?

Never been, but I'd love to. I have to build a decent rifle first... then I may take a carbine course eventually. Those schools aren't cheap!

A few enthusiasts and some LEO's amongst us go out to sherburne at least once a month for some heavy shooting, we usually get the pistol range to ourselves and use .22 conversion kits in the ar15 to run drills, you COULD share some experiences and learnings with some forums members. + Zack has some cool **** to shoot if you feed it.

Planning a trip early next year to take a defensive handgun course. Still deciding between Frontsight outside of Vegas and Mid-South Institute in northern Mississippi. Anyone been/have opinions?

I'm no Bad@$$ or anything, but I'd be happy to if ya'll will do the same.

I should warn you. After Using M16's and M4's I DESPISE the AR.

(But I still think I remember which end of the Ar is the bad end)

Frontsight is like Gunsite. A good Shooting School, not a fighting school like Surez or T.R.

Mid south... I recall something, I'll haveto check with a couple buddies...

Edited to add: I just remembered, I think Suarez is coming to Covington in Feb.

If I weren't going to be taking that other class I'd take this one.

I haven't trained with Suarez, but I've done some shooting with some of his instructors. They are good people and know their stuff.
