I'm looking for a handgun in .40 or.45 cal. I'm not too brand loyal, but please, no low end stuff. I'm looking to spend between $400 and $650 depending on brand and condition.

I would go with a Sig P220 CPO in .45 or a Sig P226 CPO in .40. If you want something else, I'm sure they have that, too.

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a Kimber Pro Carry II. I put about 75 rounds through it today, and I love it. Thanks to all who answered and offered avice.
