Sorry about your ceiling . I was fortunate . No damage to the house . My trees caught hell though .

After 55 hours of overtime in one week ( x2 ) , you damn right I'm buying a gun .

wow, my measely 36 hrs looks like nothing to you guys.... but I'm a salaried worker and the only way I can earn overtime pay is during a declared emergency, so this is like Christmas in September for me.

congrats on the new rifle... I'm looking at a handgun tonight.

I had 48hrs of OT the week of the storm, on top of my 60hrs of scheduled work, and the week after I had approx 60hrs on top of my 48hrs of regular work. I ended up just shy of 100hrs of OT between the 2 weeks following the storm.

Oh god I feel like I raped my company. But that feeling didn't last too long, cause uncle sam came rape me next.
I got 123 hours last check. We get paid every two weaks.
I just put it in savings, took the Mrs. out for a nice dinner, and bought a few hundred rounds of various caliber from academy sports.

I got about 60-70 hours for gustav, and about 50-60 from the LSA Task Force I worked last week. Waiting til it comes in before I go shopping though
