oh ****, monster cables. What a ripoff. My last day at best buy I walked out with probably a couple grand worth of cables for $50. Didn't even have a use for them, I was just investing in my future. Anybody need some HDMI goodness?

If it's like when I worked at Best Buy, employee discount is like 5% over cost. That should tell you how much of a ripoff Monster cables are.

Exactly. And not just Monster. I seem to remember the 6' printer cables retailing for ~$35, and costing employees less than $3. Total ripoff.
