A friend of mine gave me a bow, case, arrows with broadheads, release. Everything to needed to start in archery. Went to Bowie Outfitters and had the guy give it a going over. Short story to fix its problems, get it safe to use, and get it fitted to me we're talking half the cost of a new bow. When done I'm still stuck with a 20+ year old bow.

So what do I do with a Mathews bow that was manufactured sometime in the late 80s or early 90s and is uneconomical to repair?

Sell it very cheap to a bow fisher.
Is it a Shadow by chance?
Not a clue as to the model. Dug around the Mathews site and couldn't find anything to positively identify it. Since it doesn't have a serial number that dates it 20+ years ago per what I was told.

You can always pass on the free bow my way. I can handle getting it fixed...
I'll keep you in mind. Do have one resource I want to check out first though.
