    I second this.

So you work for a security firm or what? What gear do you have on you while working?

So what gear do you keep on you? Gun? Light? Handcuffs? Tazer? Bazooka?

You have a suburban with light bars, a laptop stand, and refer to is as a "chase vehicle," but you don't have handcuffs?

Chase vehicle? I don't remember referring to it in such a context, but if I did it would have been related to storm chasing.

It does have a lot of blinky on it though.

PS: I was certified to operate the lights by the State of Georgia last year. Haven't renewed since I don't drive it there any more.

    For what purpose?

    What color are the lights?

    Just amber.

Purpose is to help prevent my ass from being run over if I'm assisting another motorist.

There was one time DOTD ran out of manpower and road barricades to block something and asked me to block it temporarily while they got more trucks to make roadblocks with.

How do you find out a motorist needs assistance? Do you just drive around?
