    Just curious what everyone thinks.

I was leaning pretty strong towards the burger at the Londoner (with cheddar, bacon and fried egg FTW), but I tried the Fat Cow today and it was quite tasty..... right now it's a tie. I had the 120 burger there today, but am curious to try the $100 burger (which is $15) since it comes with foie gras (something I've never had, but am not sure about having). They also have duck fat parmesan fries which are good, but not as good as expected.

Okay, since everyone is going to say "I make the best burgers blah, blah, blah, blah...."

What's your best burger recipe? We like to grind our own short rib and use salt and pepper..... sometimes, I'll add powdered ranch dressing, sometimes diced jalapenos, habaneros, onions, sometimes I wait till close to done and baste them with BBQ sauce or hot wing sauce....

My best burger recipe involves driving to Carls Jr for this succulent beast.

I don't know about Baton Rouge, but in N.O. area I like Lakeview Harbor. Good burgers, great baked potatoes. Not a bad atmosphere.
We went to Houston's last week and my wife got a burger. She said it was good but it looked a little on the small size. My redfish was incredible, btw.

More often than not the best burger will be found in a bar that serves food(bar food)like burgers. The Harbor Bar & Grill on 17th St. in Metairie makes one of the best. You eat that burger with fries and finish it and you were a hungry puppy. I'll sometimes just call and order one for lunch to go with fries and it's the best $10.00 linch you can get.

5 guy's burger's are about the best in Monroe, When I was in California it was In and Out. The best burger I have had though was at an old mom and pop diner when I was a kid in Monroe I can't remember the name at all though.

I have to say Tramonte's off of old jefferson has the best burger I have ever had and Im a food snob.

I have to be honest, I had a burger there a couple of weeks ago. It was kinda dry and overly seasoned. I was disappointed as I love buying my steaks from there. They have good meat selection.

i like Cheeseburger Cheeseburger and 5 Guys.

You need to try Fat Cow then.

Mugshots is good (peanut butter burger is amazing, don't hate). Fat Cow is good, but I think it's a tad over priced.

Mcguire's Irish Pub has a peanut butter burger that I need to try (just about the best steaks and burgers anywhere), but have been to scared too. I shouldn't be as I love Thai food with peanut sauce..... it can't be bad.

I didn't think Fat Cow is bad on pricing.... they aren't a bargain, but their prices are similar to anywhere. Heck a double cheeseburger combo at Wendy's is $8. :hs:

    We will not tell.

Yeah that sounded a lil too KINKY even for me JBP!

Since the Ole Greesy Spoon (Burger Delight) in Gonzales closed down best around here is Brewbachers......they are good but I wouldn't call them the "BEST" I ever had! Galvez Seafood has pretty good burgers but their buns aren't the best!

I love In and Out but I am not a Carl's Jr fan. When we are in Cali we hit In and Out pretty regular.

For my tastes... In Baton Rouge, Riverside Patty off Siegen Lane or the original one Downtown. In New Orleans I like the Beachburger at the BeachCorner Bar on Canal St near City Park Ave. In Lafayette the best burger without question is the Big Pete @ Pete's on Johnston
