Seriously man!!! Well he is gonna have to order me one! I was saving for that thing lol. Yea there inventory will improve over time. You can only make so much of an initial investment. But as far as friendliness they get an A in my book.

I'm almost sorry. ;) I've been waiting for the rush to die down so we could get some good pricing on one..... With Ruger not taking anymore orders until the end of May, I'm not sure we are going to see the low prices we were wanting. :(

They did have a Metro Arms there (well under $600.... I think $540) which had a nice tight slide.

Philippine gun, probably very similar to RIA. It was prettier than the RIA and might even be made in the same plant (I don't really know that). The slide was fit tight..... that's about all I can say about it. I don't like the billboard on the side of the gun, but lots are that way. I kinda like the RIA better, but it doesn't mean that it's not a better gun or not.

I'm glad to hear we have another shop closer to home....sounds like they're friendlier than the folks at Heberts...yes, I just had to say that.:) That damn Ruger is beautiful!! I will have to check out this place and see how they are and what kind of services they can do as far as gunsmithing stuff is concerned. Thanks for the heads up on this place...I had no idea it was there and I go down that road all the time.

I pretty sure I know the guy opening this and his wife. Good folks... and should do well. I will confirm he is the owner from my brother. I will have to swing by.

They could kick you in the balls as soon as you walked in and they would still be friendlier than Heberts

Thanks to everyone for the positive reviews of our business. We established Barking Irons Firearms & Dry Goods to raise the bar in customer service in our industry. The "Dry Goods" comes from the era of the General Store days when relationship building with your customers was crucial to success. Given that, we are just starting out in the retail side, and would love your input on what items you would like to see in the store. If we can get it, we will stock it. We offer full custom gunsmith services, which is the basis of opening our store. We also offer Military and Law Enforcement discounts, as well as reward points for everyone. We are open now, with hours of M-Sat 9am - 7pm and Sun 10am - 6pm. Our Grand Opening is this Saturday from 12-7pm. Raffling a Mossberg and other prizes. We will also have free food and an inflatable for the kids. Come out and meet us!

Get some CR123's for a good price. I work out of the substation next door, I never remember I need batteries until after I get to work, and by 1800 most places are closed.
