Amazing! I would never want to have to try it in the real world, though. One little screw-up or hesitation or unexpected resistance force, even by fluke. :(

Nobodys stuck a gun in your face YET ??? :D

    hahaha...couldn't pass that up

confidence breeds ability >>>ability breeds more confidence>>> repeat as needed, soon you'll be ready for when someone does stick a gun in your face.

Fear is the real killer not the gun.

Nope, so far I have through skill and a healthy dose of luck avoided any situation in which this has occurred.

I know what you mean about skill/ability/confidence, but I also know that you never know what cards someone else is holding. There are some extremely bad people out there, and only 1 person in 8 Billion can claim to be the baddest. Somehow I doubt it's either you, or I. I have met plenty of unassuming people who beat the living snot out of me through superior experience and talent, and they looked just like anyone else. In a fight, that's just gravy. When a firearm's involved, well, send flowers?

I guess when someone sticks a gun in your face, though, it's either act--or don't. Not like you asked for it (I hope, although some people have a knack for ending up in the wrong place).

Action beats reaction, but 1/8" sure beats 2'. Gonna be a tight race and I'm not comfortable with it enough to say what I would do. Diffusing the situation would be the first goal, I would think, because if they have not shot you yet they still either want something from you, or aren't going to. You're still calling the shots even if they are holding the gun.

At work a couple months ago, a guy had a gun shoved in his abdomen and was robbed. Noone was hurt. He chose to hand over the money. How would it have gone if he tried some ninja crap? Who knows. Much the same as he didn't know what would happen if he handed over the money, either. Gamble either way, I guess.

BUT! If he ever has a Beretta 92 held at his head, and the thug is kind enough to allow him to move the gun into the proper position and plant his feet juuust right, he's all set!

And why train to drop the mag after the grab? Wouldn't a better idea be to maybe turn the gun around and start pulling the trigger? Crazy idea, I know...

I guess this harkens back to my first post on it. Agreed. Cool trick.

Better just hope you have a gun if you end up on the wrong side of that guy...and then you better hope you follow all of your advice when it comes to not getting that close...and lastly, hope you are right, and that it is just a parlor trick and he can't do that with a variety of common side arms.

At the end of the day, I'd just like to be friends with that guy. I would feel safer than being his enemy.

I'd rather be pointing a gun at him than be him with a gun pointed at me. Any day.

I'm no ninja, and I'm definitely not cocky about my skill level. But I assure you that guy would not get my gun. Actually, I doubt he would get anyone's gun other than during a demonstration.

Email and volunteer? I'd pay to watch that.

Absolutely. If he could pull a gun away from anyone here who knows what count 2/retention position is I'd give him $100. Maybe use Simunitions so he'll have a physical reference of how silly he is.

He is amazingly quick, but like others have said in so many words- that's the kind of thing where you'll only fail once.

I'm not going to press the gun up against his forehead like that, either. If I'm holding you, I have you at least a few paces from me for my own safety.
