      M1 Garand clips

I ordered a box of the regular rounds, two days later these came up. :( If only I had waited just a little while longer.

      Garand Questions.

dougstump - Thanks for the info on the clips. It was just an assumption that I made: SA gun coming with SA en-blocs of the gun manufacturer. Also, I'm glad to hear that about the leather sling. Unless I come across an original sling and cheek pad at a great price both will be reproductions...

      Nagant M1895 Revolver

My opinion is that it's not hard to come by as there is surplus and new production ammo available currently. The new production ammo is around $0.40 to $0.55 per round and surplus runs $0.31 to $0.40 per round (all prices before shipping costs considered). The surplus ammo is corrosive and...

      Garand Questions.

I have recently acquired a M1D Garand (Springfield) and I'm looking to get the accessories to go with it. The receiver serial makes it a May 1942 production and my best guess for conversion is around the Korean War period. That being said I guess I'd like to make it representative of the the KW...

They are up for pre-order, 315 left at the time of this post. These look like they will be in excellent condition and they are cheaper than anything I ever found on Gunbroker. M1895 Nagant Revolvers @ AimSurplus EDIT: 242 left @ 1:56 pm

Hodge's Gardens - Fishing and Camping.

Hello all. Does anyone have information on the camping and/or fishing at Hodges Gardens. I plan on going there later this month for a weekend get away. I've always enjoyed the place since I first went there 20+ years ago. I stayed in a cabin there years ago, but I have never camped. Has...

will there ever be .22 again?

Yes it is. I saw some on there last week. Most times it's Cabela's that has it for sale and occasionally Gander Mountain. I don't need anymore myself, so I stopped paying attention to it.

searching for a true army surplus store

The location on Airline (with big sign still visible and all) is closed and has been for some time I think.

searching for a true army surplus store

I was in Galveston about 2 years back and they were there. My girl was down there more recently and as someone said, they're going out of business. I wish I had a reason to go that way and check it out, but I won't drive there just for that no matter how many memories that "authentic US surplus"...
