I have shot pretty much only my 9mm 2011 this year in 3 gun matches. The gator is the only major pistol match that I am shooting this year. I am horribly, terribly underprepared to shoot a match of this size. I can't seem to reel it back in and get my hits even with a dot gun in practice. On...
I finished 9th in tac ops. Could have done better with a level playing field. I got a rifle though so I am happy. I agree with the others, if Sheldon runs the match next year, it may be a no go for me.
The range that the texas open is held at really sucks. You would be better off with an ATV trying to drive down that road than a car/truck. I just shot there again a few weekends ago and the amount of trash piled up all over the place astounded me. I won't go back there.

A trust costs the price of a notary stamp once it is written. I copied a friend's gun trust that was set up specifically as a gun trust and just had it notarized last time I saw my lawyer so it didn't cost me anything. Depends upon how much of the paperwork you have already done with the item...
It is awesome when the CLEO takes it upon himself to make a decision as to whether you can have a class 3 item. It isn't up to you, Jackass! All they are doing is verifying that the name and fingerprints belong to you. The constitution gives you permission, not his dumbass.
With a trust, you...
