I'm posting this here because this little girl from Covington is a shooting enthusiast and I know how this community comes out to support their own.
I caught wind of this from Thomas Morstead and I donated a few dollars of my own and then shared this with the 200,000 facebook followers from the hunting and fishing community I have at work. In the past 24 hours the fund went from $6,000 to $20,000.
Here is the story he posted on his facebook:
I need EVERYONE'S help today. My friend Madi is 13 years old. She is a beautiful pageant girl, a sharp shooting marksman, and her smile lights up a room.
Madi is suffering from pediatric cancer. She is in need of a bone marrow transplant and time is not on her side. Unfortunately insurance does not cover this medical procedure fully and $30k is needed for her to receive the treatment.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! If all my Facebook fans gave just $1, her life could be saved.
If we reach $30k by the end of the weekend, I will randomly give away 2 tickets to the next home game against the Carolina Panthers, along with my jersey and a signed pair of game worn cleats.
