    not sure don't know much about it i bought it becouse the guys i hunt with said that you want the pre safety and that you can't hardly find them any more but i never use it and i have a few huntes in tex coming up and i'm not a collector i'll prob regret it one day the only thing i see on the gun is (micro-groove barrel) hope that helps.

    Okay, I have to ask, what exactly does "pre-safety" refer to?

    Prior to 1984 the safety for these rifles was the half-cocked position of the hammer, which many people prefer compared to the newer cross-bolt safeties found on many modern guns. Half-cocked models = pre safety.

    Those marlins are pretty crappy guns. Tell you what....I got a H&R cracker barrel fo tin and a Crossman airifle I'll trade you straight up.;)
    Or maybe a Ruger Redhawk .44 or a Remington Yute model 870 Magnum 20ga? Don't have an 1100 20 to trade.

    look dude, I kept quiet for long enough, please sell someone this rifle. I want it so badly but can't afford it at the moment and it is beginning to hurt. you interested in a trade for a norinco SKS with much accessories ;)
