I just picked up this LSA Enfield No. 1 MK III (no *) GF grenade firing rifle. It has import marks and no FTR dates. All matching numbers including the barrel. The barrel has some date strike throughs, but looks like later barrel (still matching number) because it has the HV stamp behind the rear sight bed. The stock forend is also marked GF with some other markings such as V over 2. No Indian markings anywhere, all British. It appears to have been disassembled by someone and the front of the forend rewrapped. Not a bad job, but not starting where the original wrapping was done. The blueing on the receiver, bolt and what part of the barrel I can see is perfect. The bore is very nice and shiny once I cleaned it up. Just take a look and tell me what else to look for. The nose cap is also matching number. Timber is a little rough, but tight. Here are some photos.

I am also looking for a BSA manufactured No. 1 MK III or MK III*. Willing to buy or trade. Thanks for looking.
