It's a new year and time for 3-Gun! We missed the December match due to scheduling conflicts with the setup crew, but we're back for January. It should warm up by Sunday and be reasonably nice.
The match will be held at the SMPSA range in Poplarville, MS and will be on January 7, 2018 at 9 AM. Cost is only $15 for non-members and $10 for members. For directions and additional information about the club and match, check it out here.
We are now allowing PCC to shoot the entire match with the same gun. It doesn't get much cheaper than that! You may not hit the 300 yard targets the first time, but you can try! If you choose to shoot PCC, you will need at least three magazines. We ask that you at least change magazines to simulates changing guns. We have had a few people do this as an experiment and it works out just fine, at least when things are 150 yards or closer. We don't always have long range rifle targets, but if they are at 250+ yards, you might have some challenges with them. You should at least know what your PCC does at that kind of range. Or, just bring your favorite rifle, shotgun and pistol and lots of ammo! We have four stages scored as Time Plus, with Points.
