Hey guys, I was wondering if my loads are consistent enough. I'm using 125gr bayou bullets, with 4.2gr of win 231 shot through a cz-75.
    10 shots:
    Average, 1056
    Extreme Spread, 26
    Standard Deviation, 9

Is this ok, or should I be getting better numbers? I'm not sure what I should be shooting for.
Also, one of my books says to keep lead bullets under 1100. Does that apply to bayou bullets also?
    Thanks!

You can take lead bullets up to the velocity where the lube fails and you start to get leading. Many times, you can go up to at least 1800fps with bullets that fit your barrel correctly and use a good lube.
The thin Cu-plated bullets will generally not handle speeds much about 1100-1200 with plating failure and leading.
Any SD below about 20 is very good, but it is accuracy that counts.
The only concern about velocity is for action shooting sports and trying to just barely be over the target power factor.
