There are a lot of things you can do, the "dead mule" recoil reducers, ported choke tubes, softer recoil pads, and an adjustable stock. Do yourself a favor and find a gunsmith to help you fit the shotgun to your body and then go from there. There is no "universal" fix to reduce recoil if the gun does not fit you. I find the auto 5 style guns fit my arm length and face shape, I also feel recoil less than with other guns.
