I am down with Jan 18: Gunfighter I, Robert La.

Looking forward to it! Any hotel/motel recommendations for the area?

There are several places to eat in the immediate vicinity if you choose not to bring your own lunch.

Not sure that "Subway" qualifies as "several places to eat" :dogkeke:

But I'm really trying to see if I can scrounge up the funds to do the Shivworks class. That one should be awesome!

FYI, Covington is only 20 min away with tons of lodging options. as well.

Was hoping for some recommendations. Totally unfamiliar with the area. The Campground seems an odd place. From their website:
    General Rules
Quiet hour’s 11: 00 pm – 8:00 am Keep noise for your ears only.
No firearms, fireworks, bb guns or weapons allowed.

Pretty sure I will have some firearms. I can google and such, just don't know the area. The Friendly Inn link seems to be a bad link. Might just go the Holiday in route.

For Shotgun 1 the course description states 200 rds of shot but doesn't specify buckshot or will bird shot suffice for that part of the class?

I'm wanting to take the shivworks EWO class but I have no prior hand to hand combat training, I'm not against getting my hind end handed to me just wondering if I should consider some basic hand to hand combat training before this

You may want to change the year on the website calendar. It says 2014. You may lose some people if they see that and thing to themselves that it's not current.

You will be fine. Getting your can kicked is an important part of the process. You will have a blast.
