AK guys need your help

Ok I just picked up an Arsenal SGL-20. Awesome rifle but what in the world is on this muzzle? I haven't been able to find anything, and I called Arsenal and they said my rifle originally shipped with a muzzle brake. Is this just a thread protector? I'm not sure why the purchaser would have changed the muzzle device out when it doesn't seem to be a flash hider or anything of value.

Any help is appreciated.

That is just a thread protector. Press in the detent and unscrew.

Though someone removed the muzzle device. Its 26mm lh threads I belive.

24mm RH threads. K-var has the correct 7.62 brake.

Thanks y'all. Does a U.S. made muzzle device give it more "compliance"? I still don't quite know which parts count and which don't.

It probably had a US made one on it, just make sure you get one for 7.62.
