BamBam, my understanding is these are made at the same place as the Rock Island Armory 1911's are made. I have shot one mag out of one my friend owns with no issues. He loves the gun and the money he saved versus buying a springfield /Colt/ etc.... All the reviews I've read have be 99% positive. The biggest complaint that I have heard is the factory mags are not that great. That being said, I will have one in the very near future.

The ATI is not made by Armscor. They are produced by a different company in the Philippines. Armscor handles Citadel and Rock Island. Can't vouch for ATI but Rock Islands are nice.
