what does one do if one was not driving the vehicle at the time of the ticket?
I should also add, I have paid all the tickets I have been at fault for.
They suck, those cameras are just there to make a buck.
Where the heck was this? I thought they did away with those dam things.
Also while we have a cop available. What is the rule when you have turned into a divided intersection on green. Can or can't you proceed to cross the divided area while it is red going in the perpendicular direction to which you've turned? Does that question make sense? I have been doing this since I have observed several police officers do it without their lights on. My wife constantly states that it is illegal but I don't buy it.
How about at napoleon and claiborne or napoleon and tchoupitulous? Can you recall those intersections off hand? If not I will just keep doing what I think is convenient until reprimanded.

At least they don't go on your driving record!
Jefferson did (is going to?) away with them. They finally realized they were causing more accidents than they were preventing.
THREY ARE GONE, BUT THAT IS NOT THE REASON
Another words, when you make a left, you catch the red light that is holding back your cross traffic?
If that is the case, then no.
If you are familiar with Canal and Harrison, then yes, you would have to stop.
care to enlighten?

Turning from Napoleon to Tchoupitoulas you have to stop. There's a white line indicating this (it's mostly worn away, but my wife got a ticket there.

Some intersections (like Holiday and MacArthur in Algiers) have a sign saying "Left turn on green after Yield." On those, it's OK to proceed through the light because you are following a sign which overrules the red light you've just turned toward.
