Any tips on Repurposing materials for use as Cement additives to reduce slump?

I've got some ferrocement projects coming up and I'd like to reuse/repurpose materials instead of buying expensive chemical additives.

Getting as close to Zero slump as
possible would be ideal since I'll be hand sculpting.

Does anyone have any expertise or experience in this?
