I think eM is veing very subtle and pollitical in saying you should contact him. His humility is telling me volumes. May want to contact him.

I read your post about the smith in Lacombe. Haven't had him do any work but I've spoken with him. Seemed like a nice guy. I've learned a long time ago with businesses that are operated out of homes you get what you're gonna get. Don't expect more.

Other than the above comments, I ,like many, don't want to be responsible for bad advice regarding a fine scattergun like a Parker. They are nice machines.

I will shortly be in contact with eMGunslinger. From the way he worded his other post, I thought he was just a fellow enthusiast who was willing to look over it. I was searching for someone who has hands-on experience working on guns, as this is a Parker. I've since learned that eMGunslinger has far more experience than I realized.

Yeah, I understand about the advice deal. What I really wanted was someone with gunsmithing experience who felt comfortable with working on it to say something. I was doing that here to try to give a fellow BayouShooter member some business. It seems that eMGunslinger is the only one who stepped up. After my experience with just contacting someone who's a sponsor, I'd rather have someone who is on here enough and speaks up, to have the work.

    Thanks,
    Shane
