    Have not used them before but I have 10K on the way. Powder Valley has them for $20 per 1000, Order 10K and get no hazmat or shipping charger. More details in the hot buy section.

    Tula = Wolf

    Wolf primers come out cheaper at PVI, $200 for 10K Tula, $180ish for 10K Wolf, split the hazmat with a new found buddy and wolf come out to $17 per K shipped.

    I tried them. Had 18 FTFs out of 300 loaded. They are real hard. Everyone says that they are Wolf primers but I've never had problems with Wolf brand.
    Powder Valley refused to take them back but I contacted the U.S. distributor and they sent me a refund.
    Full disclosure-- I have light springs in my guns. While I've not had any ftf's with any other primer I've used or any commercial ammo this could have been the cause of so many ftf's

    From what I have heard, people who have had issues with FTF's did not seat the primer 100% and often the round would work with a second strike, First strike seating the primer, second setting it off. Of course you can't believe everything you read on the internet, but it makes sense.

    Yeah, that's what the guy at Powder Valley said. I called them after I got 7 ftfs with the first 100. So I loaded 200 more and made damn sure all primers were seated and got the same results. Out of the 18 ftf's I had only one fired on the second strike. But, like I said, I run light springs

    Also, don't forget they are much harder to seat fully as well. On quite a few of mine you have to push them about as hard as you can. I guess if you deprimed and cleaned primer pockets it might be easier but who the hell does that for most pistol rounds?

    I only tried them in 9mm so other calibers may be less picky with primer pockets. If they work for others go for it. I just had way too many issues.
