If any one is looking at the bushmaster 6.8 SPC II upper. She's a beauty and weighed in with the lower at 6.7 pds.

For the $$$ with carry handle and a mag,hard to go wrong.....

Now that I found out you can shoot 300 whisper through the blackout.Im going that way now Considering the ammo is everywhere.If you need it in a pinch.

I'm pretty sure you cannot run 300 wsm through a blackout. It's quite a bit longer oal than even 5.56, which is a little longer than 300 blk. It definitely will not run in the mags either.

Go straight to the source though to verify. Send Ron Silvers a message through Silencer Talk, m4carbine.net or just email him through AAC. Seeing as he designed it, he'll be able to fill you in on the details.

Thats kewl.I agree with the carbine length for what I have read.ANd I wont be attaching my Slide fire to it.I cant afford that and probably never will

Edit - I just read that you can run whisper trough the blackout though it was my understanding before reading it that you had to ream the blk chamber. I know the 300 blk is a SAAMI cartridge now where the whisper is not plus the loadings are different. But, it appears you're correct about that. I'll look into more this week if I can find anything.

As for the gas system on an 11.5" stay with carbine, without a doubt. Unless you're running full auto, you will NEVER be able to fire past the cyclic rate whether that's 450 rounds a minute or 900 rounds a minute.

Again, double check that with Ron about the chambers, but I'm pretty confident on that. If I'm off, I'll edit this post..
