AR15 Cleaning Kit

What is a quality, reliable cleaning kit for the AR15 and does anyone have one locally (Northshore, or there abouts?) I bought a cheapo one that fits into the buttstock, and it is just frustrating. Screw together, single piece, I don't care. Just one that will work.

I like a solid, small diameter one piece rod. Even the cheapie ones at walmart will do just fine

A Otis cleaning kit works just fine. Small enough to carry around and will do the job. Get a coated one piece rod for the shop/home use and use the Otis when out shooting. I usually carry a Bore Snake and a small container of Breakfree. Not complicated.

I keep a standard cleaning kit at the house and just run a bore snake in the field or after light shooting...

For serious cleaning, i.e. my last cleaning was after 2 years and roughly 3500 rounds in that time period. I used to be religious about cleaning after every range trip (50 to 100 rounds). I'm not so anal about things after that experiment; just lube often.
