Since it passed, have you been using the new ability to carry concealed in restaurants that serve alcohol (as a sideline) as much as possible? Like, have you gone out to eat more? :D I found myself looking for opportunities to get out a bit more than I normally would have. Not excessively but just a few more times "because I could", ifyaknowhatImean. ;) Have you?

I think the question assumes one ever stopped carrying in those places. But, no. Having the legal ability to carry somewhere doesn't make me want to be there more. Not being able to might keep me from going there but not the opposite.

Restaurants that serve alcohol... yes... BARS... no. There's also a fine line on what is considered the "BAR AREA" of a restaurant as well. Make sure you're within the law. Also, Restaurants that are functioning as bars... or Bars Operating as restaurants.

    P.S. There's already a thread on this.

I eat at restaurants less than 5 times a year, but I don't see myself going more because of a new law. I never interpreted the law to say I could not carry at these places. I also don't know of anyone who was charged with licensed carrying in a restaurant. I'm glad the issue was clarified, but it will not alter my habits.

Yes, and you've been addressed there by the way.
    Might want to read up.

Oh, I've seen it... and if you or anyone else wishes to break the law, that's your decision. Just don't do it in my bar. Speaking of "Reading Up". Or if you need to have an attorney "read up" for you.

I have no plans on carrying in a Bar.

But I am protected by the law to carry in places that have a bar.

That's why I said "as a sideline" as far as alcohol. Personally, I don't drink. I also didn't mention going into BARS nor going into the BAR area of a restaurant with a bar area "as a sideline". I think everyone here has a pretty good grip on the concept(s) in this law because it was discussed back and forth ENDLESSLY for quite some time. I think you're safe and won't have to manhandle any Bayou Shooter members from your emporium.
