"The news isn’t all doom and gloom, though. The ATF has reportedly secured new funding to scrap their (brand new, very expensive) eForms system and replace it with another brand new one that actually might work. They’re reportedly reaching out to people in the industry for help this time, so hopes are high that a new, re-designed system might actually work and shave time off of form processing."

From the article, it looks like they will continue to use the current eforms system until the new one comes online. Until then, they just won't allow batch uploading by dealers. This really shouldn't affect consumers at all since they were the ones doing the batch uploads anyway.

Except that when I buy something, I don't want my dealer to submit it weeks later. I want that damn thing in the system and pending ASAP so my dealer's inability to file my form does have a direct effect on me.

Yeah the website is almost completely unusable during the day. Definitely effecting my ability to submit forms and my distributors ability to submit forms to get me more stuff.

I have one better as a manufacturer the option in the pull down box for a form 2 is SBR/Suppressor/MG/DD. SBR just poof vanished, took 3 weeks of emailing them to get it back on my list before I could form out 3 lowers. Its ridiculous, been trying all week to do forms for suppressors.
