Been researching these bipods. They seem to have a really good reputation for durability, functionality and company support.
I would like to hear from anyone that has used them.
Very sturdy and easier to load the bipod than a Harris.
However the legs on the Harris are quicker to deploy and extend. Reason being the legs on the ATLAS lock into the folding position and you have to manually unlock them. The Harris you can just grab and fold them down.
Also to extend the legs on the ATLAS you have to pull a ring back to unlock the leg then manually adjust. With the spring loaded notch leg Harris model they deploy quicker.
The ATLAS is very robust, not likely to break and easier to load. The Harris is quicker to deploy. Both are good products.
I like my atlas, Id like it more if it locked up tighter. Like how a harris will with a pod lock. Other than that, no complaints. Its a great bipod, much better than anything else Ive ever used.
