From the New York Times: (and other publications)
Mr. Reid said on Thursday that he had talked with Senator Patrick J. Leahy, the Vermont Democrat who leads the committee, and had promised a vote on some type of bill that considers the committee’s actions, probably by mid-April.

It's been reported several times that the vote for the AWB and the background check bill would be slated for mid April, I just checked the Senate calender and both bills are scheduled for Monday March 18, 2013. S. 374, the background check bill is number 25 and S. 150, the semiautomatic firearm ban is number 27.

Really like how it is worded:

"A bill to regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes."

There always has to be a "other purposes" clause of some kind in every piece of legislation.

I just spoke with Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), a gun rights supporter, and he said that S. 150 is NOT up for vote on Monday, March 18
