For you guys like me that might be very hesitant to spend that kind of money on something that doesn't say made in USA on blade I gotta say I'm very impressed. I have not had exp with these knives before but I just got my first run knife and I gotta say I freaking love this thing. It's totally bad A$$. I bought it to suport forum purchase but this will now be my EDC and am eager to buy my second. I'm sure there is at least a few people that think like me out there and figured I'd throw that out there.

Absolutely and I feel better about it knowing spyderco also has a US manufacturing site in Golden City, CO so even though this blade is made over seas you are still indirectly supporting jobs in the USA.

Hate to drag up an old thread but does anyone know the status of the proposed second-run of forum knives?

Thanks for the reminder. I just sent a follow-up to our contact at Spyderco to check on this. Last communication was that there was concern because of the amount of Enduras that were left unsold but I don't think they're available for purchase online anymore which tells me they've likely sold out.
