I use Winchester PDX1 124 gr. bonded. It feeds reliably and I just plain like it.

They have already been revised once because they were not doing what the FBI wanted them to do which was to penetrate deeply and expand. They were penetrating very good but not expanding very well.

I found these for about 18 bucks for 50 rounds. Do you know if they are any good?

One of the best 115gr. rounds available and that is an excellent price. Make sure it is not LEO rejects that have been repackaged or relabeled.

I shoot the 147gr PDX stuff. I prefer the heavier 9mm loads because of their intermediate barrier performance. I am kind of a Winchester Ammo Homer. I carry the PDX over the Ranger-T because it's much easier for me to get locally.

My G19 runs like a Swiss watch on regular factory Remington ball ammo.

If I feed her off-brand stuff, she FTL's almost every other round. Especially in very cold weather.

Your gun is broken and you should send it back to Glock. I own a half dozen swiss watches and they aren't the reliability standard they once were.

I went through the same thing when I was looking for defense ammo. I finally decided to go with the 147 HST and 124+p Gold dots. Both shoot well out of my gun and I did a lot of research to finally decide on those two. Below are some links you can take a look at that rate most common 9mm self defense ammo.

Why would you shoot 147gr. in one and 124gr. in the other? The recoil impulse and POI is different between the two although the POI varies very little at defensive range.

Did not mean to make it seem like I carry both. I Bought 100 rds of each to see which I liked more, from what I had read. Both shot fine. I practice with 124gr and 147 gr ammo, so wasn't too concerned with gr. but I do only carry the HST. It seemed to be a little more accurate for me side by side with the Gold dot, YMMV. It was nice to be able to compare the two side by side, and I know the GD is still great ammo.

No, my son, a certified GLOCK armorer, took it a few days later and put 300 consecutive rounds through it with zero problem. I have probably put another 300 through it since then; no problem.

When I had the problems, it was a cold, cold day and the ammo was that large lot crap from Cabelas.

Sin-ster-you are correct, the bonded. We just got some and it is accurate and soft shooting for a +P. We even shot it in the Kahr CM9 and it was soft shooting. We have been shooting 127+P+ and those have a good performance rating, but they are hard to get also.
