People hunt with everything from 110gr-220gr. Depends on you setup and what yoi want. I shoot 125gr and I just got some 110s

For short barrels go with the 110gr pills. Longer barrels (16" and longer) you can get pretty good velocity with the 125's. I use 110gr Barnes TTSX loaded on top of H110.

I've taken 6 deer and one red stag with the Atlanta Arms 125gr pink tip round this season. 9" barrel.

If you reload I have had good luck with 125 TNTs. Killed a bunch of pigs and deer with it out of a 9 inch barrel. Getting like 2050 fps. Otherwise blacktips are probably the best.

I have read good reviews on the Barnes 110gr TAC TSX, what some refer to as the black tip. It is moving around 2300 fps out the barrel and the reviews and youtube geletin tests are incredible. One shows it penetrating a bullet proof vest and then 16 inches of gelatin. Perfect expansion and the 110 grainer weighed 108 grains upon recovery.
