$579 for a complete BCG? I thought I had expensive taste, but damn
So what are the advantages?
The advantage is clear... the company makes $500 dollars per bolt!
It's not designed for a $600 DPMS. It's the exotic car or bolt carriers.
Less reciprocating mass in a rifle makes it cycle faster and reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil. The biggest advantage is when used in conjunction with a low mass buffer and adjustable gas. The system operates with a lot less input from the gas and is super soft. My sights don't move. It's really cool especially if you do any type of competition or speed shooting. Or you can just use it to pick up chicks on Instagram with cool photos.

Instead of CLP lubricate with Grey Poupon.
He said it wasn't designed for a $600 DPMS, and that the $600 dollar bolt carrier as previously stated was the "exotic car".
While it would be pretty awesome, I don't know if I can justify something like that for the plinking that I do... but I can always try. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission, ain't it?
Time to shop for adjustable gas blocks.
I'll stick with my hand polished JP low mass bolt / carrier setup
