$579 for a complete BCG? I thought I had expensive taste, but damn:run:

It's not designed for a $600 DPMS. It's the exotic car or bolt carriers.

    So what are the advantages?

Less reciprocating mass in a rifle makes it cycle faster and reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil. The biggest advantage is when used in conjunction with a low mass buffer and adjustable gas. The system operates with a lot less input from the gas and is super soft. My sights don't move. It's really cool especially if you do any type of competition or speed shooting. Or you can just use it to pick up chicks on Instagram with cool photos.

I would buy one. Not that I play gun golf, but it would look awesome on a chain hanging around my neck.

$600 DPMS constitutes expensive taste? In that case, I have exuberant taste with the Noveskes :)

But even their low mass bcg is only $279ish, and that's a lot!

My spikes run great for $120...

While it would be pretty awesome, I don't know if I can justify something like that for the plinking that I do... but I can always try. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission, ain't it? :)

Time to shop for adjustable gas blocks.

Adjustable gas block seems a bit more reasonable than a $600 BCG lol.
