I am not personally trying to hurt anyone's feelings, just a little aggravated that despite any explanation, the OP repeats himself over and over like he doesn't care what anyone else has to say, while putting down "every" Academy employee. All I did was try to help.
Welcome to retail. You will be insulted in ways you never thought imaginable, people look down on retail like they do restaurant employees. They think we all make $7/hr and havent gone to school and flip burgers everyday. Most dont even realize what it takes to run a $25-35 million dollar/year store.
But from the other side, the customer is what you are there for, when they pissed you must hear them out and try to take care of the problem quickly. The customer pays your bills.
