Special Operations guys have called the 2013 Hog Hunt *The highlight of 2013, so far* and *a trip of a lifetime*. We’re happy to hear it, but it’s time to prove the second statement false.

The 2014 Hunt will be held January 29 to February 2nd at Casa Monte Lodge in Carrizo Springs, TX. This time our participants will have the opportunity to take unlimited hogs and a management doe. Participants will have two and a half days of hunting plus the opportunity to learn from and hang out with some of our country’s finest warriors.

If you’re interested in hanging out with a great group of people, including members of the Special Operations Forces, shooting guns, hunting, butchery, field survival skills, drinking beer, eating meat, shooting guns, getting a real look at where your food comes from, and supporting 2 worthy veterans charities, the Silent Warrior Scholarship Fund & Green Beret Foundation Charity Hunt might just be for you.

No hunting or shooting experience is necessary. In fact, this might just be the greatest opportunity to learn about hunting and butchery any novice could ask for. We encourage our participants to bring their own rifles, but we can provide them if needed.

Mid-day informal classes will held each day. Long Range Shooting will be taught by a Marine Sniper. Field Skills and Basic Field Medical Skills will be taught by a Green Beret. Ross Flynn, a NC based butcher will be doing a full butchery demonstration and class. This was one of our most popular classes at the first event.

This event is a unique opportunity to spend time learning the basics, or improving your skills in the areas of shooting, hunting, and food preparation. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time with a top notch group of civilian professionals, and representatives from the Marine and Army Special Operations Forces.

Net proceeds will benefit the Silent Warrior Scholarship Fund and the Green Beret Foundation.

Please contact Aron Woolman at SWSFMentor@yahoo.com for further information or to register for the event.
