Caught a few today

Went to a local park today and managed to catch 9 bluegills, eight of those would have been keepers if I were keeping any. All caught on my 12' Tenkara rod on three of my hand tied sinking flies. Sat out there a couple hours and enjoyed the breezes and watched the ducks cavort about.

good for you. my son got bit by the fly-tying bug a few years ago. we have some pretty interesting specimens laying around here.

Nothing more fun to me than tricking a fish into biting one of my flies. Much more fun than feeding them worms or crickets.
