CC application question

I applied for my cc about two weeks ago. Is there anything I should get in the mail saying that my application is approved? Or any way to see the status of my application? Or do you just send it in and wait a few weeks?

It's definitely quicker now than a year ago. But yea a month sounds about right.

Next apply for a tax stamp, that's when the real wait beings....

Mine took 5 weeks. Most I've heard are from 4-6 weeks. Once you hit week 7 you might want to call or email.

I applied 7/27, new permit, not a renewal. Mailed prints in 7/31. Got approval email and paid on 8/8. Ill update when the card comes in the mail.

The new online application is the way to go. My wife sent hers in and got finger printed at state police the next day. 2 days later we got an email saying if was approved. Permit arrived in about 12 days from date of application.

Sp the FBI is running the prints that fast? WOW!

It's the electronic finger printing that speeds up the process. Haven't you seen how fast they do it on tv shows lol. Seriously though if you are going to submit finger print cards I wouldn't bother doing it online. We only had to wait 10 minutes. My son went and had to wait about 45 minutes. There is a separate window for chp. So dont freak out if there are 39 people waiting.

My original application was 3 months, my renewal was like 3 1/2 weeks
